Our strength has been, and always will be in our members. We train together, we referee and coach each other and we have lots of fun doing it. We’re a team, whether we’re at a competition or not. Like other good fencing schools, we produce NCAA fencers, national competitors, junior olympians and regional champions. We offer some of the lowest membership fees in in the Southeast while still getting
results. And while we have some of the best fencers in the Upstate, we don’t pressure our recreational fencers to compete just so we can charge them more for membership. Fencers of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to use our FIE competition strips so they can experience electric fencing. Our coaches are all professional members of the USA Fencing, have undergone background checks and are certified by the USFCA. We have FOC rated referees and a skilled armorer. Our members also serve as SC USA Fencing division officers. We even offer quality equipment at discounted rates. We’re proudly involved in promoting every aspect of fencing and we do it all for the love of the sport. We have the finest fencing facility in the area. The academy is a 4000 square foot, air-conditioned building with 6 tournament strips on a raised wooden floor designed specifically for fencing, which provides more protection for your joints than a plain concrete or tile floor. All our tournament strips have 3-weapon scoring machines with current FIE timings and one features an FIE grounded piste. We also have an outside walking/running track and wireless internet is available. We have open fencing throughout the week and select Saturday mornings. Our facility is handicapped accessible.
