Hello, Friends!

We are Head Over Heels Gymnastics! Formerly known an Mikcalia's Gymnastics. We have had lots of big changes in the last few months (and a lot more to come) and our name is one of them! We are so excited to continue to grow this program that was brought to our community many years ago. We are so thankful for our gym family who have shown us nothing but grace in this season of change. Between schedule changes and simply just trying to find a groove that works for us- they have been nothing but patient and kind while we try to work out all of the kinks.

While we haven't figured it all out, yet. Things are finally falling into place. We are so excited to see what the future holds for our club and of course, for our gymnasts.

Stay tuned for all updates about changes coming up in the near future. You won't want to miss them!

I have no thank you big enough for owner Angie Kinnard and her husband, Danny. They decided to help keep this program for our current and future gymnasts who SO deserve to have this opportunity available to them. They have entrusted me enough to try my hand at teaching our gymnasts all I know. (All thanks to Mikcalia!) & I am so so excited to help grow this program right along side them. ~Coach Brianna.

Today we had our first event for the 2023-2024 season!! All of our girls got to try new things, make corrections and work with some AMAZING coaches and judges!! So very proud of how hard these girls work in the gym every week. Meet season here we come!! 🤸‍♀️

BIG thank you to Parkland Gymnastics for hosting this event! Our gymnasts and coaches learned so much!

Kennedy just joined our level 1 class a couple weeks ago & look at her go!! Can’t wait to see her progress over the next few months!! 🤸‍♀️

The gym will be closed Monday September 4th in honor of Labor Day. We will try and schedule a make up day in the near future.

UPDATE.... PLEASE SHARE... PARENTS NIGHT OUT ANNOUNCMENT
TOMORROW: Friday August 11th....
WE HAVE DECIDED TO EXTEND OUR HOURS to KIDS 7 AND OLDER.......FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE of $10.00
For $10 more the hours will extend to 10:00. During that time, we will show a movie and provide popcorn. So, if you would like to send your kid for the whole time it will be from 5:00 - 10:00 for $30.00. If you want to pick them up at 8:00 that works too. It will just be the normal $20.00.
We will be serving Hotdog and chips, that is included in the initial fee. Concessions will be available at an extra charge. Popcorn will be provided during the movie at no additional charge!
If your kid is 6 and under, they will need to be picked up by 8:00. If you have an older kid with a sibling under 6 that wants to stay with their older sibling, please message me. We may be able to work something out. 😉

This is a trial, and depending on how it goes, we do plan on offering more of these "parents night out" with possibly even longer hours. Give me your suggestions and input. This is all new to me (Angie) so, I am sure I am missing something. And I do not mind the feedback!

FYI: All proceeds go directly to the gym. The gym does not make enough money to keep the doors open and I am spending money out of my pocket each month to keep it all running. So, that being said we are trying to compensate by doing fund raisers and things like this, so we can eventually get the gym to where it needs to be financially.

Thanks for everyone's support. It is greatly appreciated. I look forward to chatting with anyone who has some suggestions!

✨Parents Night Out ✨

$20 per child, and you do NOT have to be a member to participate! Ages 4-14 welcome!

Hot dog and chips will be provided as dinner! Water fountain available!

Extra snacks and drinks will be available for purchase, so bring snack money!

Only 25 spots available! You can stop in Mondays & Thursdays 4-7:30 or Tuesdays 4-5:45 to pay for your spot(s)!

What a wonderful time we had tonight at the Father Daughter Dance. We had a pretty great turn out. Thank you to all who showed up, or made food! And a HUGE thank you to those who helped set up and/or clean up! Y’all are the real MVP. That is a LOT for one person to take on! I couldn’t have pulled it off without you!
Also, thank you, Amanda Sly for coming all this way down to be our photographer! 🤗

If you took any pictures please feel free to share them with us! I would love to make a memory book as the years go on! I didn’t get a chance to take a lot of pictures. So I would appreciate any you want to share!
