PYAA Fall Tennis - 5-week recreational program. Registration is now open!!! And will close 8/31/24. Weekly practices will start Friday 9/6. All team/grade divisions will practice Friday evenings & play Saturday mornings. Fairly sure 8-12 grade players will practice starting at 5pm. The other grade divisions (1-3, 4-5, & 6-7) will start around 6 or so Friday evening.
Saturday morning times are:
1-3 Grade division 8:45 to 9:45
4-5 Grade division 9:45 to 11:00
6-7 & 8-12 grade division's times depends on number of players in each division.

Summer Recreational Tennis Program
10-week Recreational Tennis Program
Starting week of May 13th and going to last week of July
Registration fee is $110/player
This is a recreational tennis program with basic coaching. Players will have a weekly team practice a weekday evening and practice/play each Saturday morning. Players are assigned to a grade division based on what grade they will be in Fall of 2024.
Each team's coach selects the weekday evening, time, & location for their team's practice. Usually practices are held Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings starting at 5 or 6pm. Most practices are held on Lakeview's or North's tennis courts. We do our best to accommodate family's schedules.

Cost is $45. Programs for grades 1-12

Practices on Fridays starting Sept 78

Competition on Saturdays starting Sept 89

Good afternoon!! The PYAA office is still working on setting up the new registration system. They are 'cautiously' optimistic of registration for the Fall Tennis program opening later this week.

Currently having system issues that are delaying the opening of registration for the 5-week Fall recreational tennis program. Hopefully registration will be open week of 9/21/23. Weekly practices for all teams/divisions will be Friday evenings, starting 9/8. Weekly play/matches for all teams/divisions will be Saturday mornings, starting 9/9.

PYAA Recreational Tennis Summer Program registration is now OPEN!!!!! Weekly team practices will start week of 5/15 and the 10-week season will wrap up the end of July. Registration fee is 'only' $85 per player!! Please register soon!!! We provide basic instruction and coaching along with lots of fun!!!

Good afternoon!!! We are having technical difficulties with the Tennis page within the PYAA website so it has not yet been updated for the 2022 Summer session. I can tell you that we are very excited for the upcoming season!!! Registration should be opening in April, closing early May and weekly team practices starting around mid-May. Looks like registration fee will be approx. $80/player. All grades & experience levels are welcome!!! Players are assigned to a grade division based on their grade this coming Fall. Younger than 1st grade can be welcome but they will be with the 1st-3rd graders. Summer season will be 10 weeks - skipping the week of July 4th and holding the End of the Season Tournament Saturday July 30th. We use the school's tennis courts. Most practices are held on North or Lakeview's courts but can also be at Central. Saturday morning matches are at North & Lakeview. We are always looking for Coaches & Assistant Coaches!!! Please spread the word to all your neighbors & friends!!!

Planning has begun for the PYAA 2022 Summer Recreational Tennis league!!! We had a great season last year and hope this year's is even better!! Registration should be opening in April with weekly practices and matches starting in May (probably week of 5/23). Program will be 10 weeks long wrapping up last Saturday in July with the End of Season Tournament!!! Registration fee will be similar to prior year but may be increased $10 per player, due to increased costs of supplies and such, for a total fee of around $80 or so per player.

Program structure is to have weekly team practices (weekday evening selected by team's coach) and weekly divisional matches each Saturday morning. Divisions are (usually) grades 1-3, 4-5, 6-7, and 8-12. Grade and division is based on player's grade Fall of 2022.

We are always looking for coaches and assistant coaches!!! No experience needed - we have training aides and will share drills and such.
