It’s GAME DAY for your Lady Blue Flame! The Blue Flame open up their regular season tonight with a Trimatch at TL Hanna! Both JV and Varsity will be playing Byrnes at 6:30 and TL Hanna at 7:30. Come on out and help cheer your ladies to a Blue Flame victory!

Friday night lights are back! The Blue Flame started this season off strong last Friday with a 61-41 victory over our rivals Easley. Thank you to our friends at WSSL 100.5 for partnering with us this season! Let’s go Blue Flame! You can catch the Blue Flame in action at home again this Friday where they will take on Blacksburg.

This Friday is Rec Night! All rec department football players and cheerleaders wearing their jersey/uniform will get into the game free on Friday night against Blacksburg. Kickoff is at 7:30 pm and we will have a halftime recognition of all of the future flame recreation athletes! All rec players must be accompanied by an adult. (Each rec player in uniform will grant an accompanying adult free entry as well)

As we prepare for another year of athletics, the School District of Pickens County is implementing two new safety measures for spectators:

👜 CLEAR BAG POLICY — ALL ATHLETIC EVENTS
Approved bags include:
• Clear totes up to 12” × 6” × 12”
• One-gallon clear resealable bags
• Small clutches/purses up to 6.5” × 4.5”
• Seat cushions with backs up to 16” wide
• Diaper and medical bags (subject to additional inspection)

🚫 Backpacks, camera bags, large purses, oversized totes, grocery bags, mesh bags, f***y packs, belt bags, and oversized bags are not permitted.

🛡️ EVOLV WEAPONS DETECTION — SELECT EVENTS
Evolv screening will be used at select athletic events, beginning with the Football Jamboree at Easley High School on Friday, August 14.

When entering:
• Walk through the Evolv screening system.
• Keep your keys, wallet, and cell phone in your pockets.
• Follow directions from SDPC staff and law enforcement.
• If alerted, a secondary screening will be conducted.

Please allow a little extra time for entry and remember that weapons and other prohibited items are not permitted.
