As we prepare for another year of athletics, the School District of Pickens County is implementing two new safety measures for spectators:
π CLEAR BAG POLICY β ALL ATHLETIC EVENTS
Approved bags include:
β’ Clear totes up to 12β Γ 6β Γ 12β
β’ One-gallon clear resealable bags
β’ Small clutches/purses up to 6.5β Γ 4.5β
β’ Seat cushions with backs up to 16β wide
β’ Diaper and medical bags (subject to additional inspection)
π« Backpacks, camera bags, large purses, oversized totes, grocery bags, mesh bags, f***y packs, belt bags, and oversized bags are not permitted.
π‘οΈ EVOLV WEAPONS DETECTION β SELECT EVENTS
Evolv screening will be used at select athletic events, beginning with the Football Jamboree at Easley High School on Friday, August 14.
When entering:
β’ Walk through the Evolv screening system.
β’ Keep your keys, wallet, and cell phone in your pockets.
β’ Follow directions from SDPC staff and law enforcement.
β’ If alerted, a secondary screening will be conducted.
Please allow a little extra time for entry and remember that weapons and other prohibited items are not permitted.
