It's the final countdown! There is a lot to unpack here so please save this post. Just one week left to register for Fall Ball and join us for some fun that we'll have this Fall! Registration closes August 25th. If you have ever considered giving softball a look, there's no better time than the Fall to jump aboard! Our Fall is fundamentally focused and we spend a lot of time on teaching/improving technique and developing/enhancing skills through fundamental progression. In 2024 we brought back Fall Ball after many requests from the community and had a great response in 2024. In 2025 participation doubled and we saw many athletes who participated in Fall Ball carry their excitement over with us into the Spring. If you're new to the sport, it's no coincidence the better experience your child has in the Fall usually generates interest in continuing in the Spring. We are excited to see what this Fall brings and look forward to all of the girls who will benefit from the instruction they'll get from the coaches and athletes who will volunteer their time to see that your child learns the game and has fun doing it! For the past two Fall/Spring seasons we have added a little more each year and we're excited to announce we're adding more this Fall as well! For 2026 Fall Ball, here's what you can expect:

- First night of Fall Ball will be September 15th
- NEW! Wee Ball League (3yr/4yr - - *bats from the tee* - - - if there are enough registrations and enough volunteers needed to run this age group)
- ( 6 ) nights of Skills Nights
- ( 8 ) Tuesday/Thursday games at Friendship Park
- ( 7 ) Saturday tournament opportunities to participate in and compete against other leagues among the MS Gulf Coast! (much of the tournament action depends on how many players register in each age group and how many of the players selected that they would like to participate in these tournaments when they registered)
- and a few more exciting developments we will announce shortly!

As registration draws to an end, our calendar of events and important dates are starting to take shape. Once registration closes on August 25th, we will review where we are number-wise for each age group and begin reaching out to families regarding next steps. We will post our final schedule/calendar once we have all registrations tallied.

We've been asked about what gear your child should have for Fall Ball. Please see the recommended list below:
+ cleats (no metal spikes)
+ glove
+ field face mask
+ batting helmet (with face shield attached)
~ bat (not required, but good to have - - - if you aren't sure what size bat to get, here's a good tool to use https://www.justbats.com/bat-resource-guide/sizing-guide/)
+ batbag to hold all the gear in
+ pair of pants (any color)
+ knee-high athletic/sports socks (any color)
+ belt (any color)
+ water bottle
**** Please remember to write names/initials somewhere on your child's equipment/gear so it doesn't get mixed up with someone else's equipment/gear****

Our jerseys will have a combination of the colors in the attached image for those of you who want to try and color coordinate on socks and belt.

Thank you for registering with us for Fall Ball, we look forward to seeing you in a few weeks!

Bring ‘em out, bring ‘em out, bring ‘em out! Back to school for the kiddos and everyone is checking off their back to school list. There’s one more thing left to do! (Okay maybe like a lot more, but..) 2026 Fall Ball will be here before you know it and registration closes on August 25th! Don’t miss out on the fun Fall season upcoming. Scan the QR code on the flyer or click this link https://playmetrics.com/signup?clubToken=TG9naW4tQ2x1Yi52MS0yODQxLTE3ODgxMDgwOTd8UTNGc1BIWkR6Rm1aeGhReWlKK1U3c3BueEY0L2FPci9LN1NCeXpESFo0dz0= to get registered. Whether your softball player is in her first year or seventh year, fundamentals will always be her foundation. Your softball player will get a lot of instruction from our coaches and development through fundamental progression. There will be skills nights and game nights. In addition to game nights during the week, teams of ages 5 and above will have opportunities to participate in some tournaments on some Saturdays. Jersey is included. We are not providing pants, belts, or socks. We have grown every Fall for the past two seasons, let’s make it another great season of Fall Ball! 4 year olds will play with and against other 4 year olds and will bat off of a tee. 4 year olds will not play with the 5 and 6 year olds. If there are not enough 4 year olds that register AND not enough coaches to run this age group, we will refund you at the close of registration if it’s determined we will not have enough players or coaches. Those of you who have already registered will receive an email this week that will provide a softball gear “checklist” of sorts along with an anticipated calendar of events for our Fall Ball season. Have a great school year and we will see y’all soon!
