Ripping into the weekend our final stop on the journey through some of our Classic ATV Video archive. Tonight an explosive production from our friends at Team Green with this documentary style long form promo, featuring the entire 1984 line up of their 3 Wheeled atv models. Boasting the first water cooled performance platform - it's full throttle flex and non stop action with thier new flagship - the KXT Tecate 3. The other KLT intermediate models also get their fair share of pounding as the operators demonstrate the durability, performance and innovation of Kawasaki's new vision.

Tonight another stop in 1983 with a ghost of Christmas past. This un-resotred gem has been the best known example of a 100% factory original Holiday Giveaway version of the ATC70 to have come to open market.

There were no guardrails in early 1980's when it came to the gorwing off-road ATV market, and tonight we share a great example of that as we step back in time with factory Yamaha and their expanded Tri-Moto line up. This documentary style info-mercial runs down every model in detail while combining non stop action sequences. Settle in and enjoy the ride, it's a good one!

As we continue our Classic ATV commercial marathon, tonight we take a ride all the way back to 1981 with a factory Honda production celebrating their 11 years in the ATC business. Splitting our attention is a rowdy feature showcasing the all new ATC250R and ATC200A as they race and rumble across the screen, clearly demonstating the evolution of the then already iconic brand.

1985 was a banner year for Classic ATVs with all eyes on factory Suzuki's roll out. Quadupling down ( pun intended ) with a line up of 7 Quadrunner platforms that year, this obscure commercial promo celebrates that achievement with some incredible action footage of their new sport segment the LT230s, and the great disrupter for the perfomarmance class - the all new LT250R Quadracer. We bet that shoot day / night was a memorable one from a production standpoint.

Another from our classic archives, tonight is one of our favorite Honda television commercial promo's featuring the 2 year only mash-up MX/ATV hybrid - the TR200 FATCAT. Playing on an Orson Wells style story of otherworldly invaders, this production screams 80's and beyond with the timeless tropes and solid action packed family fun demonstrated on this too soon to be gone platform that still falls somewhere in between loved and misunderstood.

As the weather heats up outside, this afternoon we take a trip back to 1985 with an iconic American Snowmobile manufacturer that could no longer ignore the market demand for off-road vehicles that could be used year round. In this long form documentary style promo, the companies inaugural roll out of two platforms are featured - the now rare 3 wheeled Scrambler and future legendary badge for the brand - The Trail Boss.

Tonight a flashback all the way to the 1970's with what is likely one of factory Honda's earliest television commercials. This humorous jaunt through a frozen glacier and desert wasteland on their Flagship ATC90 and the new dune buggy inspired Odyssey captures the soul of the early innovations of what became a global outdoor past time in the years to follow.

Launching into the weekend tonight an action packed image originally captured by the team at 3&4 Wheel Action in 1992 for a Spring issue of that year. For those that remember - this was about as action packed as a shoot out war was going to get by this point in the game, with the final high performance market relegated to a mere 2.5 machines ( we give the Blaster a half point foot in ) the 4 stroke sport platforms was where the focus landed for that market, as the sun was setting on the final year of the Bronze Era of classic ATVs. We'll follow up in the coming days on how the dust settled on this Thumper Thowdown.

Talk about being on top of the world for the day! This incredible POV shot captured by the team at 3&4 Wheel Action for the March 1992 issue features a classic view from the Legendary Glamis Sand Dunes atop Oldsmobile Hill. For those that have made the journey to this Southern California mecca or grew up riding in the area, we'd love to see some vintage photos or read some stories about experiences there.
