WHEN HITS AREN’T FALLING:
✅ Play elite defense
Make the routine plays. Take pride in outs.
✅ Run the bases hard
Pressure the defense every chance you get.
✅ Be a great teammate
Cheer, communicate, pick others up.
✅ Hustle on and off the field
Jogging is noticed—for the wrong reasons.
✅ Execute the fundamentals
Bunt coverage, cutoffs, backing up bases.
✅ Stay locked in mentally
Every pitch matters—whether you’re in or not.
✅ Control the strike zone (hitters)
Quality at-bats still matter without hits.
✅ Attack hitters / fill up the zone (pitchers)
Compete. Trust your stuff.
