This is an open letter to all!

At MacAthletic Gives, Inc., we believe sport is more than a game, it’s a path to discipline, confidence, and opportunity. Our mission is to bring coaching, performance training, and free clinics to athletes who may not otherwise have access, including underserved youth, indigenous communities, and retired athletes who want to stay connected to the game they love.

As a former Division I athlete, I know firsthand how sport can change a life. Growing up in group homes and children’s shelters in California, athletics gave me structure, community, and the chance to achieve something greater. Today, I want to pass that gift on.

The Nation is closing its Recreation Centers so I can train the group in playing lacrosse!

And I LOVE the Positive Coaching Alliance!

All Recreation Centers (Al Jek, Hickiwan, Pisinemo, Sells, and San Xavier) will be closed on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 for an All-Staff Training.

This training helps us better serve our community and continue providing safe, fun, and high-quality programs for all. 💙

Here we have Alistair and Logan, both Tusculum University Lacrosse players, returning the medicine game back to the Tohono O’Odham Nation in Arizona.

Both of these men are NCAA scholarshipped lacrosse players and both are proud MacAthletic athletes!

We offer free and culturally respectful training programs, clinics, and mentorship opportunities designed to honor the roots of the game and empower Native youth through sport. While our broader mission includes providing accessible athletic development in speed, agility, and mobility, our primary focus is on giving back the game that originated with America’s First Nations. Through partnerships with tribal communities, schools, and volunteers, MacAthletic Gives fosters pride, movement, and opportunity for the next generation of Indigenous athletes.
