Hello everyone,

I’m writing to share some important news and to clear up any misinformation. I have accepted a position with another school district—a decision that was not easy and one I made with careful consideration.

As a result, I will be stepping down as the wrestling coach at Sunnyslope. It has been a true privilege to be part of your lives and the lives of your student-athletes. I am incredibly grateful for the trust you placed in me and my coaching staff to help your athletes grow—not only in their sport, but as young adults. That is a responsibility we never took lightly.

I leave with nothing but appreciation for GUHSD, Sunnyslope, and this entire community. I wish all of you—staff, students, and families—continued success and the very best moving forward.

Its that time of the year again. Sunnyslope wrestling update!
The season is off to a great start! We have over 100 wrestlers cleared, and they are already working hard.
We kick things off this weekend with our annual lock-in, and we’re also ramping up our fundraising efforts. Opportunities to support the program include:
T-shirt sponsorships-Every wrestler in our program is responsible for purchasing a Pride Pack, which includes a t-shirt, a long-sleeve shirt, a warm-up sweatshirt, and shorts. You have an opportunity to sponsor an athlete and cover the cost of one or more Pride Packs by being a T-shirt sponsor! Each $100 sponsorship will offset 1 athlete's Pride Pack and help support the program. In exchange for your sponsorship, your logo will be placed on the back of all 3 tops ( t-shirt, long sleeve, and sweatshirt) that all of our athletes receive. It will also be added to our web page for all to see. The bigger the sponsorship, the bigger the logo. Cut-off date for the 25-26 season is Nov. 18, 2025.
