I worked with an athlete who was not starting, felt anxious, and did not know what kind of leader she was.

Excited to share some truths that may ruffle a few feathers, but that need to be updated!

90% of what we know about the nervous system and neuroscience has been learned in the last 10-20 years.

Why does that matter? We don’t have to guess and we don’t have to rely on outdated solutions to solve modern problems.

You can’t out hustle a brain that doesn’t hunks it’s in anger. And here is the kicker we don’t usually weigh in on what that threat or danger becomes and that is why athletes end up with a block.

Hustling, more reps, powering through that doesn’t solve the deeper problem. It just reinforces the pressure that’s building and the frustration from not feeling better, by doing more. It ignores the bodies wiring and we call it mental weakness, but that’s not it at all.
