PLAY SOCCERwith the Madison Futbol Club
Who Are We? The Madison Futbol Club (MFC) is a non profit, all volunteer soccer club serving
the youth in the central Phoenix area. We are not affiliated with the Madison School
District. All kids are welcome to play whether in or out of district. We offer both
Recreation and Club leagues along with a summer camp. How Do I Sign-Up? You can sign up on-line at
www.mfcphx.org. Uniforms are included in the registration fee and will be distributed before the
first game. When is the Season? The Rec season runs the weekend after Labor Day and concludes the weekend
prior to Thanksgiving. There will be one practice during the week and a game on
Saturday. All practices will be held at one of the following schools (depending on yourteam): Simis, Meadows or Madison #1. Most games will be held on Saturday mornings at Madison #1 (16th Street & Missouri). What are the Age Groups? We have Rec teams for kids ages 4 -11. The kids will be grouped into teams in
the following divisions: 4&5 (Little Kickers), 6&7, 8&9 and 10&11 (as of Aug 1st). Both girls and boys of all skill levels are welcome. How Can I Coach or Volunteer? We are an all volunteer organization. We are always looking for coaches who are
willing to volunteer and coach their kid’s soccer. A love of the game and a positive
attitude is all that is required. You can check the box on the registration form and email
Shawn Grunewald at [email protected] for more information. What is Club Soccer About? Club soccer is for kids who are more skilled and looking for a more competitive
environment. There are practices twice a week and games on Saturdays. We play within the Arizona Youth Soccer Association and travel to other clubs within the greater Metro Area. The season runs September through March. Currently, we have teams for ages 8-11 (as of Aug 1st). Where Can I Receive More Information? You may contact Shawn Grunewald at [email protected] for more information
about both the Rec and Club leagues. In addition, please visit our website at
