Tom Weigand started off as one guy with a camera taking shots of some dudes playing pickup ball in Balboa Park. As the SDAFFL became official and rapidly grew, Tom build a photo team to keep up. Now, we have 7 regular shooters that cover 16 teams and publish roughly 2,000 shoots a week out of nearly 20,000 shots snapped on the field. We strive to capture both the intense athletic competition as we

ll as the fun we all have on and off the field. Tom is "retiring" from leading the team but will always remain our "Chairman Emeritus" and Scott Donald will be leading the effort for the 2013 Season.

Alright everyone, with my last post I have put up all my photos from Gay Bowl XIII. Thank you for your patience with me as I worked on completing them, and I hope you enjoyed. Even though the Shooterz aren't doing photography this season, I'll still be posting tournaments here whenever I'm able to make them. So with that, I wish you all a fun year full of health, happiness, and lots of sports. Have a good one everyone, till next tournament!

Here are photos from Day 2 of Gay Bowl XIII in Phoenix. The teams featured in this album are Boston, Cleveland, Denver, San Diego, and Washington.
This is a fun little album. First off, we have the rare angry ref outburst from Brad. He simply got tired of the boys trying to tell him his business. So he told them to stop tell him his business.
The next surprise is for anyone familiar with Titan Films. None other than the beefcake Jesse Jackman plays for the Boston Bulldogs, #12. If you follow him on Facebook, you'll recognize a couple of the photos ;-)
