Beyond Technique: The Psychology of Lead & Follow

What makes a truly exceptional Pro-Am partnership?

It’s more than beautiful technique, choreography, or a perfect lead and follow. It’s understanding the person in front of you—feeling their intention, recognizing their uncertainty, building their confidence, and creating trust without ever taking away their role in the partnership.

This special Men in Black educational and interactive seminar for female professionals will be led by Wesly Feuquay — Professional Psychologist, Former Professional Ballroom Dancer & Lifelong Learner.

Wesly brings a truly unique perspective—combining his professional understanding of psychology with his experience in ballroom dancing and his continued passion for learning, personal growth, and the human connection behind every partnership.

This isn’t a seminar about learning how to follow.
It’s about discovering a deeper way to connect.

Following the one-hour interactive educational seminar, our Men in Black gentlemen and their professional teachers will come together for a relaxed Social Hour—an opportunity to connect beyond the competition floor with conversation, light appetizers, and a special treat.
