🎓🏐 WELCOME BACK, WVC ATHLETES! 🏐🎓

A new school year is here, which means we’re getting one step closer to another incredible season of Wisconsin Volleyball Conference action!

To all of our WVC athletes returning to campus — whether you’ve already started classes or today is your first day — welcome back! We’re wishing you a successful school year and an exciting start to the volleyball season ahead.

As preseason gets underway, it’s time to get back in the gym, open things up, compete, and begin building the connections that make great teams. From open gyms and tryouts to practices, team bonding, and preparation, these early days are all about laying the foundation for the season ahead. 💪🏐

Take the time to get to know your teammates, build trust, challenge one another, and enjoy being back on the court. The work you put in now will help shape the teams and memories you create throughout the season.

We’re excited to welcome you back and can’t wait to see all of our WVC athletes competing across Wisconsin soon!

Is it WVC season yet?! 😅🏐

We're definitely missing seeing everyone on the court, but Waupaca Boatride is the next best thing! It's one of our favorite times of the summer to see WVC teammates, former teammates, rivals, and friends all hanging out together and making memories.

Whether you're getting ready for your first WVC season, you're a current player, or you're a proud WVC alum, we hope you have an amazing week in Oshkosh!

Remember that one time Heather Stanek won 2026 Women’s WVC Championship MVP… and in that very moment, you could already feel something bigger coming? 👀🏐

Right after WVC, we caught up with Heather to talk about what it took to get there—and her answer had nothing to do with stats or accolades. It was all about her people. Her teammates, her club president, and her dad. The support system behind her every step of the way.

Looking back now, that interview feels like a preview of what was to come.

Because just one week later… she carried that same confidence, belief, and momentum straight into the 2026 NCVF Volleyball Championships—earning another MVP and leading her team to a national title.

Sometimes you can see it before it happens. 💫

Minnesota State University, Mankato stands on top of the nation 🏆🔥

Congratulations to Mankato on capturing the 2026 NCVF Division II National Championship—an incredible achievement earned through grit, belief, and relentless work from the first serve of the season to the final point on the biggest stage.

This moment is the result of a team that committed to the process, trusted one another, and refused to back down. Through every long rally, every high-pressure set, and every test along the way, Mankato proved they were built for this.

And this victory didn’t happen in isolation—it was sharpened through the strength of the WVC. Week in and week out, this conference demands toughness, resilience, and a competitive edge. Every match within the WVC is a battle, and it’s those battles that prepare teams for moments like this.

Mankato didn’t just survive that environment—they thrived in it. They took those challenges, grew from them, and carried that experience onto the national stage with confidence and composure.

When they stepped into that arena, they weren’t just representing their program—they were representing the entire WVC. And to see them rise to the occasion, to see that level of play translate on the national stage, is something every team in this conference can take pride in.

This is what WVC volleyball is about. This is what it builds.

A national champion, forged through competition, unity, and relentless pursuit of greatness.

Championship Power Pools start this afternoon, and the WVC is absolutely crushing it. 🔥
Both our men’s and women’s teams continue to show why this conference is one of the strongest in the country.

For the women, the WVC makes up 9 of the 24 teams in the DII field — an incredible representation and a testament to the depth and talent in our conference. 💙🏐

Championship Power Pools = still alive in the hunt for a National Championship, and every WVC team on this graphic has earned their shot.

Good luck to all competing — keep the energy high, trust your training, and make Wisconsin proud!
