🏆 Waterside Bocce Doubles Tournament Recap! 🇮🇹🎯

What a day at the club this past Saturday! The courts were packed, the competition was strong, and the atmosphere was exactly what Waterside is all about — great people, great games, and nonstop action.

After a full day of round robin battles and intense matchups, we crowned our champions:

🥇 1st Place: Lew & Filippo — dominant all day and clutch when it mattered most
🥈 2nd Place: Dave & Dino — battled their way through and put up a great fight in the finals

Shoutout to all 15 teams who competed — every match brought energy and competitiveness to the courts. From early games to the final roll, this was one of our best one-day tournaments yet.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out, played, helped, and supported. Events like this are what make Waterside special.

WATERSIDE CLUB MEMBER/MEMBER CALCUTTA – WHAT A DAY!

Another incredible chapter was written at the Waterside Club this weekend as we wrapped up one of the most anticipated events of the year — the Annual Member/Member Doubles Draw & Calcutta Tournament. The courts were packed, the energy was electric, and the competition delivered from the first ball thrown to the final point.

🔥 Taking home the Championship were Jesse Campbell & Sal DeLuca, who put together an impressive run through round robin play and bracket. In the final they knocked off the defending champion Keith Visneau, earning the title in front of a great crowd of members and fans.

💰 In the Calcutta Auction, Joe Paice showed great instincts (and confidence) as the highest bidder on the championship team, making the victory even sweeter.

🥈 Finishing in Second Place were Keith Visneau & Jeff Kinney, who battled their way to another strong finish and kept the pressure on all tournament long. Their team was backed in the Calcutta by Chris Merckel, who had the winning bid on the duo.

👏 The Member/Member Calcutta continues to be one of the most exciting traditions at the club — bringing together competition, strategy, laughs, and a packed house of Waterside members.

A huge thank you to everyone who played, bid in the Calcutta, helped organize, and came out to support another unforgettable tournament.
