What keeps you coming back, year after year? ❤️🏃

For John Geesler, it’s the people, the community, and a goal that keeps him moving. After 22 finishes at Across the Years, John is returning for his 23rd, with his sights set on an incredible 10,000 lifetime miles at the event.

Across the Years is the original fixed-time, multi-day running event celebrating the New Year. 🎆

This event will feature the traditional 6-day race as well as multiple fixed-time and distance options, and the ever popular Last Person Standing event.

Join us at Peoria Sports Complex as we run into 2027, reconnect with familiar faces, welcome new friends, and make memories one mile at a time!

We’re excited to announce that the 2026 Fat Ox Endurance Runs will once again host the USATF 24-Hour Championship on November 21, 2026! 🔥

What started as Nathan Coury’s college thesis on fat oxidation and ultrarunning has grown into a 48 hour, family-friendly, fixed-time festival.

Whether you’re chasing your first ultra, going for 100 miles, or pushing for a new PR, Fat Ox is the place to test your limits on a USATF Certified 0.988178 mile paved loop.
