Did you know the Pentair IntelliFlo3 VSF can control your pool light, blower, or heater?

Most people don't realize the IntelliFlo3 VSF comes with a relay control board built in — giving you the ability to power additional equipment directly through the pump. Here's how it works for a pool light:

✅ Two relay options — 5 amp for small LED lights, 16 amp for larger loads
✅ Terminal 1 = line (power in from GFCI), Terminal 2 = load (out to the light)
✅ Black wire is your line, red wire is your load
✅ Remove the existing light switch wires from the GFCI and connect them to the relay
✅ Load wire from the light to terminal 2, power from the GFCI to terminal 1 — done

No separate light switch needed. The pump controls everything.

Is your sand filter actually giving you the clean water you're paying for?

Recently, Aqua Pool Supply got to sponsor Train With the Champ — a youth boxing clinic hosted by undefeated pro Jordan "El Moreno" Martinez (16-0-1, 15 KOs, recently signed to Matchroom Boxing) at Fuentes Boxing Club here in Phoenix.

The kids spent the morning rotating through training stations with Jordan and his team — Boxing 101, jump rope, mitt work, bag work, and circuit training. Jordan even threw down $20 to whoever could crank out the most push-ups (we hear the competition got intense 💪). Lunch was pizza and wings — Jordan's post-fight tradition — donated by Long Wong's, and every kid went home with a gift bag full of gear.
Getting to support a local champion who uses his platform to invest in the next generation was an easy yes for us. Jordan, thank you for inviting us to be part of it. 🙌

Hey everyone, Jerry here from Aqua Pool Supply. Today I'm going over two of the most common pool pop-up heads we see — the G4V and the older G4 — and showing how to adjust the nozzle flow setting on the older style.

✅ G4V — newer model with holes on top, made by A&A and powered by Pentair
✅ G4 — older style, no holes on top (also called the G-Force)
✅ To adjust flow on the G4: twist off the top cap, select the hole size for the flow rate you need (low, medium, high, or max), and lock it back in

The right flow setting depends on where it's installed — steps, shallow end, or deep end. Easy to do once you know how.

Hey everyone, Jerry here from Aqua Pool Supply. We get questions about this one a lot, so I wanted to address it directly.

If you ordered a Pentair cartridge and it showed up in a Pleatco box — or with different branding than you expected — that is completely fine. Pentair and Pleatco have combined and are now the same original manufacturer. The cartridge inside is the exact same OEM product, just in a different box.

✅ Same manufacturer, same part
✅ Different packaging doesn't mean it's not genuine
✅ No need to return it

Hey everyone, Jerry here from Aqua Pool Supply. If your Pentair in-floor cleaner is stuck on one station and not rotating through your pool, there's a good chance your gear kit is the issue — specifically that second gear in from the outside.

✅ Take the lid off and pull the gears out to check
✅ If the second gear is shredded underneath, that's your problem
✅ 2" external plumbing = part #230069 | Internal plumbing = part #230068
✅ New gears in, lid back on, l**e the O-ring, and you're back in business
