Many thanks to all the people that have helped the Steely boys, Kade and Dallin in their trials journey. Paul Stevenson for his generosity in getting the boys to TTC, Billy Traynor for his generosity with riding gear and support, Brian Longbons for his coaching and insights. Micheal Meschede for his interest and coaching. Mike Carlton West for his support with parts and gear. Brian Frank nutrition for his coaching and excellent nutritional products. And the trials community across the country that has been so helpful and welcoming for young riders. trials for their efforts in bringing and fostering the youth. Spent some time under the Beta tent today with Ray Peters…going over Dallin’s 250. Found many loose bolts and learned some good tricks. Repeated the process with Dallin present and went over the 125 with Ray looking on.
That kid is hard on the equipment 😡 my only solution is to have a check list for the kids so they can touch every point on the bike before riding.

As the Steely boys gain experience and skills in their trials riding and competing, it was decided to take them on a trip to Tennessee to the trails training center. We arrived last Friday, Kade had two next gen trials taking a first on Friday and second on Saturday. Dallin ride in the junior sportsman class Saturday and Sunday in the NATC he had prettt respectable scores 20 for the day on Sunday. The class is pretty competitive with the top finishers scoring lower than the adults on the same line.
Monday through Thursday they both are participating in a camp being taught trials riding skills in the morning and fun stuff in the afternoon, yesterday they went to a waterfall/swimming hole.
