Grand Canyon University's Outdoor Recreation Program

The Grand Canyon University Outdoor Recreation program exists to serve the students by providing outlets of outdoor recreation that engages both individuals and groups in adventure, fellowship, environmental stewardship, leadership development and outdoor education. We will advance relationships through these outlets and strive to provide a positive experience for the students while fueling off the endless adventures that occur in God’s creation that help challenge students physically, spiritually, and mentally.

It’s GCU Day of Giving! Outdoor Recreation provides students with opportunities for adventure, community, leadership, and spiritual growth through our four program areas: Adventure Programs, Base Camp Rentals, Climbing, and Campus Garden.

Your support helps us expand our programs, improve equipment, and create more opportunities for students to experience God’s creation and serve others, including our annual mission trip to Costa Rica.
