TRACK & FIELD / The Brophy track and field team placed 12th with 22 points at the AIA Division I Championships, which were held at Red Mountain High School.
Senior Tanner Bice finished third in the high jump with a personal-best clearance of 6-6, the third-best performer in school history in the event, and sophomore Henry O’Riley was fifth at 6-3. Garrett Larsen crossed the line sixth in the 400m in 48.53. The 4x800m relay placed eighth in 8:08.86 with Colin St. Hilaire, Spencer Nick, Shane Smith, and Josiah Colburt.
Freshman Hudson Hensley finished second in the javelin on Thursday with a best of 192-9. It is the Arizona State freshman record (breaking his own record) and No. 2 among freshmen in the nation. He is second all-time in Brophy history to Darius Alberty (197-11.25)
