From the first steps in the Sonoran Desert to the final finishers arriving in Heritage Square, the 2026 Cocodona 250 presented by was a week we’ll never forget.

We witnessed course records and breakthrough performances. We watched runners battle cold, heat, fatigue, injury, and the voices in their heads telling them to stop. We saw tears of joy, moments of doubt, and the kind of resilience that can’t be measured by time alone.

From the front of the pack to the final finisher, every athlete wrote their own story across 250 unforgettable miles of Arizona’s rugged beauty; through desert, canyon, forest, and mountain.

Cocodona has always been about more than a race. It’s about community, grit, and discovering what’s possible when you keep moving forward.

Thank you to every runner, crew member, volunteer, medic, and fan who made this journey so special.

Until next year. ❤️🏜️🌲🏔️

An update from Wayne Amo.

Congratulations to our official DFL for the 2026 Cocodona 250, Suzy Lurie!
It’s a tradition here that former DFL’s of the event and the race winner are here at the finish line to present this hard-earned award.
Thank you to past final finishers, Andre Lee and Robby Chaney, and to this year’s champion, Rachel Entrekin for being here at Heritage Square!

05/09/2026

Robby Chaney was DFL in 2024, and last year he was medically pulled during the race, but this year he not only completed the Arizona Monster 300 in April but just finished Cocodona 250 during Golden Hour.
Congratulations Robby!
