The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation. This will be an instructor-led course where you will receive direct instruction from NRA-certified Pistol Instructors from beginning to end. I enjoy teaching and training individuals in the topics of gun safety. This course will include range safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety. Additionally, all students will complete live fire training to qualify on a nationally standardized shooting qualification to which you will receive a certificate of completion that can be used to apply for your Arizona CCW license.
Our class will be held at the Hampton Inn - Anthem and at the BEN AVERY / Department of Public Safety Pistol Range. The morning will be classroom presentation which will be video and power point presentation.... the afternoon will be range. We will have the range til 8pm and will get everyone through and I will stay and assist all my students to achieve one of the NRA qualifications which will be 10 feet, 15 feet, 20 feet or 45 feet.
