Weekend wrap up at the 5th annual D1 Nation Spring Battle in the Mountains!!

13u:
4-0 Spring Battle in the Mountains Champions
With a few families unable to attend last minute and putting us in a critical position roster wise for being able to compete safely, our 13u merged with and was welcomed and treated extremely well with another in-state team (2-Live Krew) helping keep the 13u Championship right here in the the Mountain State!

10u:
2-1 (Top 8 finish out of 16 teams)
10u took two wins in pool play over in state teams (Lumberjacks and Playmakets) earning top pool spot in bracket play for Sunday. Our boys fought hard, and kept it a 0-6 game until very late where they ended up falling 0-14 to the eventual #4 finishing team from Lynchburg VA (CVA Seminoles) This group is really starting to play together and for each other, defense played lights out all weekend only allowing 2 TD’s through 3 games. They should receive a nice bump in their D2 National Rankings and WV State rankings after all the air clears!

9u:
1-2 10th place overall finish
9u drew two really tough teams for pool play, and was scheduled to play a team late Sunday for consolation game, 9u didn’t quit, they are still growing within the game its self and will continue to develop and get better.

7u:
1-2 9th place (12 team bracket)
7u played the arguable the hardest schedule in pool play for that division losing to eventual tournament Champion and Nationally ranked team out of Florida, but made up for it in the 9th place consolation game by beating regional rival and very familiar foe D2 #2 Tri-State Alliance. This group’s coaches and players have all bought in to each other and it’s really starting to show!
