The purpose of White Horse Fi****ms and Outdoor Education Center, a non-profit organization, is to educate our fellow citizens in the shooting sports and to provide a safe location to practice those sports. Whether the activity is just plinking, participating in formal events, or just obtaining some training; White Horse Center is for you. The Center can be considered the Marksmanship Training Cen
ter for West Virginia as there are a number of training activities in which you can participate. For instance, High Power Rifle, Smallbore Rifle, Bullseye Pistol, Permit to Carry, and Range Officer training. If you are not familiar with any of the above terms, come by and talk to us. The National Guard has trained out here, and the facilities are also available for law enforcement departments. Various groups (youth and adult) have come to the range for their first shooting experience. White Horse may just be the place for obtaining that shooting merit badge. And we cannot forget the Hunters among us. They normally visit the Public Range to sight-in for hunting season. During the preseason rush (October and November), Hunters may just find that there is some assistance available to sight-in that gun/scope/ammunition. Expert assistance is available to you for zeroing your rifle. Most rifles can be zeroed in three shots or less. What you need to bring with you
