Stop settling for "okay" meal prep. 🛑 It’s time to fuel like an elite.

We’re dropping a flavor bomb this week: Black Garlic Salmon. 🐟🧄 This isn't just about the taste (though the umami is unreal)—it’s about using the best fuel on the planet to support your recovery.
We specifically chose wild-caught salmon for this recipe because as an athlete, your standards matter.
Cleaner Performance: Wild-caught fish are free from the antibiotics and synthetic dyes often found in farmed varieties.
Elite Omega-3s: It packs a superior ratio of anti-inflammatory Omega-3s to help you bounce back faster from heavy training sessions.
Sustainable Power: Choosing wild-caught supports healthy marine ecosystems, ensuring we protect the natural resources that fuel us.
Paired with the antioxidant-rich punch of fermented black garlic, this is the ultimate "smart" meal for anyone serious about their gains and their health.
The full step-by-step recipe is dropping in 48 hours on the A+ Enhanced Athletes website.
📩 Save this post so you don’t forget to grab the ingredients!
👇 Drop a "🔥" if you’re ready for a meal prep upgrade.

Results don’t come to those who wait. They come to those who work. 🧱
We all have the same 24 hours, but we don't all have the same priorities. If you've been waiting for a "sign" to start, this is it. No more "I'll start Monday." No more "I don't have the time."
In the world of hybrid fitness, we don't choose between strength and endurance—we master both. It’s time to stop making excuses and start making the change you actually want.
The Launch: We are officially going live with our Full Platform Launch on March 15. This is the definitive hub for athletes who want it all. 🚀
We’re opening up Early Access to a select few from this community before the public launch.

Think eating healthy is too expensive? Think again. 💸
Most people skip the habits they need because they think it’s "unaccessible." The truth? The macros you need to gain muscle and feel better are likely in the aisles you walk past every day.

In so many Latino households, love is served on a plate.

It looks like a grandmother insisting you take seconds. An aunt watching to make sure your plate is full. A mother reminding you that you’re “too skinny” — or sometimes, that you’ve had “enough.” Food becomes more than nourishment. It becomes connection. Celebration. Care. Belonging.

But for many, that same love can feel complicated.

Research shows that while food is a powerful expression of affection in Latino culture, it can also create pressure — pressure to eat more, to never say no, to accept love in the form it’s given. And when boundaries feel like rejection, guilt often follows.

Layer onto that the comments that can come from within the family — about weight, about portions, about appearance. Studies have found that negative messages about eating and body size from parents and even sisters are linked to body image shame in Latinas. What’s meant as concern can quietly become anxiety. What’s framed as love can start to feel like scrutiny.

And then there’s familismo — the deep cultural value placed on closeness, loyalty, and togetherness. It’s beautiful. It’s powerful. But it can also make it hard to set boundaries, especially around food. Saying “no” doesn’t always feel like declining a dish. Sometimes it feels like distancing yourself from the people you love most.

This is a well-documented cultural experience, though it doesn’t come with a neat percentage or a single statistic that captures how many people struggle with it. What we do know is this: many carry this tension quietly.

If this story feels familiar, you’re not alone. We’re continuing conversations like this — unpacking culture, family, food, and healing — with honesty and care.

call it peptides, metabolic enhancers, whatever you want. 💉
We call it juice. Steroids. Bovine boosters. 🧪

The real real is that anywhere from 18–30% of gym-goers (yep, the regular people you do cardio next to 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏼‍♀️) use performance-enhancing drugs. And the sad thing is, there’s a decent amount of you not using them right, safely, or efficiently. ⚠️

Not cycling off.
Using bathtub juice because it’s cheaper. 🚿🧴
Not pyramiding, for Christ’s sake… 📉

So unfortunately, you’ve forced us to dry snitch and start giving you the real info.

I’m about to turn 39 on February 23rd. But the lesson I had to learn about just how fu***ng toxic the “under 30” weight loss mentality was for “over 30” bodies at about 36. I had just moved to Ohio and there were a lot of changes that were RAPIDLY escalating my stress levels. In addition, I was doing all the dumb s**t you do before you truly understand that your metabolism and hormones DRAMATICALLY change after 35. You know, under feeding, over training… all that silly young people s**t. Sooo - finally at 185, around the time I decided to launch my educational platform, KATVOIX ACADEMY (I’m only 5ft 1, so that weight was really hard on my knees) and with most of that sitting in my belly, lower back and jowls, I decided to evolve my tactics. I started taking L Theanine, magnesium L theonate, combining walking, running, and strength training. Cutting out protein powder and replacing it with cleaner (although obviously not as quick) whole food proteins. I also cut out palm oil (but that was just a sensitivity that got a lot worse as I got older). THAT COMBINATION over a period of 3 months gave me better and faster results than when I went on GLP-1. Now realistically, I still can have cortisol spikes. As a matter of fact I’m the clip that I’m on the treadmill, I’m having a BIG one, but the kind of water retention, sleep deprivation and lack of clarity that I once had is a distant memory. Of this was helpful share it out. Us gals have to look out for each other. Thanks to for letting me share my story.
