Another weekend, another 👑 SK 👑 project…Well, sort of. This one was definitely different.
When Jimmy’s kitchen contractor (and Lacy’s good friend) Mike’s truck broke down in his driveway and it was unable to be driven, we came up with a plan. Towing a vehicle like this wouldn’t be easy but certainly would be costly. The truck being broken down was definitely affecting his ability to do work. The shackle for the leaf spring broke and the suspension collapsed down onto the fuel line leading from the filler cap to the gas tank.
Add Shuffle Kings Mobile Auto Repair to the list.
While Mike was working at Jimmy‘s house on Saturday, we rolled up to his house to fix his truck. He did not ask us to do this, we decided we were going to do it because it needed to be done.
A few hours later, the broken shackle for the leaf spring was replaced and he’s back in business. It definitely wasn’t a routine repair. Old, rusted hardware made it a little more difficult to remove the broken piece. Thankfully between the guys we had the right tools to get it done. 🔧 🔨🪛🔩
