Sometimes it's the little things that can make a bike feel fun and new again! Like these Oury grips...known for being cushy and and comfy, they also come in a bunch of amazing colors to make your bike pop (We're especially partial to the Teal 🩵). Roll on through and we can switch you up with a pair of these, usually within a few minutes!

We're starting a new ride series! It's going to be focused primarily on trails in Belmont and Wissahickon, meeting twice a month and alternating between some casual Trolley Trail gravel and more intense inner MTB trails. We know it's coming up soon, but our soft opening ride is this Sunday May 3rd and we hope you'll join us!

The first ride will be party pace around the Trolley Trail, perhaps we'll venture a bit to interior trails if the vibe is right. No drop, and we'll wait at trail intersections for those that may fall behind. All bikes are welcome, but you'll probably want to have at least 35c tires.

It's New Bike Day for Diego, with this incredible Scott Scale 910 in bright white! We're honestly jealous of this ride, with it's lightweight carbon frame and Fox 32 fork, set up with Scott's e triple-stage RideLoc remote. Happy trails!

It's crazy how much mountain bikes have changed over a relatively short time! Here in the first pic, we have a Scott Scale from 2012. Carbon frame, 100mm of travel in the fork, multiple chainrings...everything we wanted from a racy MTB at the time. The next pic is a 2025 Scott Spark 960. Full suspension with 130mm of travel and multiple settings that are easily accessible on the fly via a handlebar remote. A simple and robust 1x drivetrain with a clutch rear derailleur to keep the chain from bouncing around. A dropper post and slacker head angle to make obstacles and drop-offs a breeze. Tubeless tires. And a few other tidbits that just make riding trails more comfortable and more efficient. The good news is: if you're looking for a new MTB, they're generally more fun and capable than ever, and we can help get you on your perfect setup! If you're still cruising on an older bike, we know our way around those too, and can help keep your rig running for years to come! Come through and check us out!

Usually people don't get too deep when messing with brifter internals, but just because your shifting seems a bit reluctant - or even frozen - it doesn't necessarily mean you need to toss your levers in the bin! Often, old grease and gunk has just built up over time and jammed up the works. Come visit us and we can let you know if cleaning up the internals and installing some slippery new cables & housing can get your bike shifting like new again!

The coolest thing about gravel bikes is their versatility...you can cruise some road miles, tackle some singletrack, or anything in between! This is also the root of the biggest argument in gravel: "What tires should I run?" Semi-slick 40's? Knobby 50's? A lot of current gravel frames can even accept 2.1 XC MTB tires! While there's no magic rubber that works in every situation, we've got plenty of miles on plenty of different treads, widths, and casings. We can help guide you in the right direction for whatever type of riding you're doing, and we've got a good spread here in the shop for you to choose from!
