Spotlight Open Teen/Adult Contemporary✨
Bernard Gaddis is an internationally acclaimed dancer, choreographer, educator and arts leader. A Philadelphia native and former principal dancer with PHILADANCO! And Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, he has performed worldwide on some of the most prestigious stages, including Carnegie Hall, the Paris Opera, and Lincoln Center. Bernard is the founder of D2, PHILADANCO!’s second company, and has worked with Cirque de Soleil, Broadways, The Lion King, and renowed artists across the globe. His career spans performance, choreography, teaching, photography, and arts advocacy, inspiring excellence in dance and creative leadership.
Bernard will be teaching through the summer Wednesday evenings 6:30-8. This class is Open Intermediate Advanced for Teen/Adult dancers.

Celebrating Luca Wood, Class of 2026 🎉

Luca began her dance journey at just 2 years old. One of her favorite memories is participating in her first merdé circle, a moment that filled her with a profound sense of love, support, and connection among her fellow dancers.
Through dance, Luca has developed resilience, strong time-management skills, adaptability, reliability, and a level of maturity that will serve her well in all aspects of life.
Her advice to younger dancers:
“If you ever feel like dance is keeping you from having a ‘normal’ childhood experience, remember that the skills and lessons you’re learning will carry you far beyond the studio.”
And STRETCH! 📣 📣📣
If she could have any superpower, Luca would choose time travel so she could revisit and relive her favorite memories.
This fall, Luca will attend Barnard College, where she plans to pursue a dual major in French and Dance, along with a minor in Political Science.🧑🏽‍🩰🇫🇷📚
We are so proud of all Luca has accomplished and can’t wait to see where her next chapter takes her. Congratulations, Luca! 🎉💙

We are excited to announce that the performance has been RESCHEDULED FOR TOMORROW, JUNE 7 at 7:00 PM.
