Congratulations to our 10U Baseball team on finishing as finalists in their first tournament of the fall! 🥈⚾️

The boys finished 3-1 on the day, including a walk-off win in the semifinals and a win over the eventual tournament champions earlier in the day during pool play.

They lost the lead in the final inning of a long championship game that included a mid game field change and a lot of back-and-forth, good baseball. While we didn’t finish the way we wanted, the boys showed a lot of heart, toughness, and fight all weekend.

Proud of this group and excited for what’s ahead. We’re looking forward to a great fall season with these boys! 💪⚾️

🥎 Congratulations to Spectrum Softball 8U-Stokes on their runner-up finish in Grenada! 🥎

The girls went undefeated through the day before earning a spot in the championship, where they faced a team they had already beaten earlier in the day. The championship didn’t go their way, but it was a great run and a strong day of softball from this group.

There were plenty of great individual moments throughout the day. Maggie, Allie and Darci turned three double plays, and there were big contributions from everyone at the plate. Maci, Allie, Willow Grace, Avery and Charlotte all had especially strong days hitting.

Maggie also laid down her first bunt and made it safely to first — the first bunt in team history!

Allie McKee earned the game ball for the tournament after putting together an outstanding all-around performance.

Very proud of this group. 2nd place today, undefeated through pool play, and a lot of good softball to build on moving forward. Excited for the rest of the fall!

The newest member of the Spectrum family has arrived! Help us welcome Jace Allen Italiano, born July 9th at 12:19 AM!

Jace’s parents, Brooks & Annika Italiano, are a huge part of the Spectrum family as our managers and baseball/softball coaches. We’re so excited to watch this little guy grow up around the facility and eventually make his way onto the field!

Enjoyed having the Neshoba Central football team practicing indoors at our facility today!

It was great to see so many of the boys who have come through our facility over the years through lessons, camps, and other programs. We also had a few who have helped us coach at our camps, so it was especially cool to see them back in the facility preparing for their own season.

Praying for Coach Ruffin and the boys as they head into the season. Go win it all!

🥎 Softball Camp Day 2! 🥎

What an incredible two days with these awesome girls!

They showed up every day with an unbelievable amount of enthusiasm for softball camp. Whether they were running through the sprinklers, doing cartwheels, dancing, competing in drills, or simply having fun, they had so much joy doing so.

One of the highlights was seeing almost every girl lineup & be able to recite our camp scripture, Proverbs 31:30, from memory.

We’re so thankful for the opportunity God has given us to pour into these girls through the game of softball, build relationships, and create memories they’ll carry with them long after camp is over.
