Philadelphia Triathlon Club Providing a community for the multisport athlete in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. To provide organized group rides, runs and swim workouts. To have FUN!

Mission Statement:

The Philadelphia Triathlon Club aims to provide a community where a multisport athlete in the Philadelphia metropolitan area can achieve individual training and performance goals in a fun, supportive environment. Objectives:

To promote camaraderie among club members and other triathletes/duathletes. To provide education and clinics to club members about the sport of triathlon. To provide discounts on equipment and products through our sponsorship network. To provide triathlon racing uniforms at a “significant” discount to retail for all club members. To facilitate special programs for female members. To give back to our community through volunteer work and supporting those less fortunate. To provide a quarterly newsletter. To provide a social outlet for club members. While multisport athletes are serious about their sport we all need to remember to HAVE FUN!

PTC Teammate Brynn Hellberg (Brynn Hellberg ) recently conquered her first full 140.6 distance race at Ironman Lake Placid.

This iconic race destination is actually the first full Ironman distance outside of Kona when Ironman started to expand. The course itself is challenging, with over 7,000 ft. elevation gain over the 112-mile bike and also a hilly run, but the magic of the town and the supporters really does give that extra boost to get to the finish line.

Congrats to Brynn on making it through the training process and crossing the finish line in 14 hours 12 minutes!
