Archbishop Ryan Girl's Soccer Alumni Association Our e-mail address is [email protected] We are interested in starting an Alumni Association for the AR Girl's Soccer Program.

We hope to one day have banquets, an alumnia game and a Hall of Fame, similar to the Boy's Alumni Association. We are starting out slowly, but are looking for people who want to get involved or who played girl's soccer at Ryan. Our first event is a Golf Outing. The Golf Outing is on April 20th 2012 at the Torresdale-Frankford Country Club. It begins at 1pm with a Buffet Dinner following in the Clu

✌🏽 MONTHS!!!!!

🔺Thank you to everyone who participated in our 7th Annual Walter Bradby Memorial Golf Outing on May 1st. We had an incredible turnout with about 100 golfers! A huge thank you to everyone who donated a basket, sponsored a hole, and helped ensure the day ran smoothly.
🔺And thank you to everyone who joined us at the Taggart House on May 15th for our 2nd Annual Spring Happy Hour. We had a great time and hope you did too!

June Details:
🎓Today, the Class of 2026 gathers together one last time to celebrate the memories, friendships, and four amazing years spent at Ryan. Congratulations, MaryErin McMonagle! We love you always and will miss you so much. Best of luck at Penn State!💙⚪️🐾

🏟️Summer League at HVAA kicks off June 8th and runs through late July, with all games scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday nights. We can’t wait to get back on the pitch!

⭐️Player High light of the month:
Huge shoutout this month to our freshman, Ella Currier!
Ella started the fall on JV as a defender and quickly earned her spot on varsity as a forward, bringing a unique spark to her game. She’s also part of Ryan’s Healthcare Association, working toward college credits in health sciences through Holy Family University, and is set to graduate from Ryan in 2029 with an associate degree.
On the field and track, Ella has had a standout year—setting a new PR in long jump and helping Coppa Storm bring home a state cup championship. In the May 16th final, she scored the tying goal to keep her team alive on the way to the win.
Next stop: regionals. Good luck to Ella and the rest of the Storm girls!⛈️

Off season is FLYING by!

April recap:
With spring sports in full swing, we took the month off as a team. We sent the juniors to prom, hosted 7th grade open house, and Hayden crushed a full weekend of performances!

We’re getting closer… 4️⃣ months until preseason!

☘️ March Recap:
Thank you to all the girls who came out the past five Sundays. We loved seeing the eagerness to learn and the drive to get better. Excited to see where the future takes you!

📅 April Dates:
Our juniors will be trading boots and braids for curls and gowns at Junior Prom on April 24th. Can’t wait to see the prettiest team in the PCL all dressed up!

Two days later (4/26) we’ll participate in the GK4 Walk.
The GK4 Foundation honors Archbishop Ryan alum George Karusky, whose life was tragically cut short just months before graduation in April 2020. Mr. Karusky continues to go above and beyond supporting AR athletics and keeping George’s legacy alive. His dedication reflects what Invite Mane is all about.

⭐ Player Spotlight – Hayden Lee
Hayden’s growth this year has been incredible, earning a spot in the Varsity starting XI after beginning on JV just nine months ago. Her work ethic never wavered, even through challenges. Off the field, she earned First Honors while balancing Tri-M Music Honor Society.

Hayden will also appear in the spring musical Wonka! as part of the ensemble.

No 5, No problem. Just do the math!

Last year, one of our old friends thought she performed so well during the season that she would retire the number 5 from our program for the 2025 season herself. Thank goodness we have new uniforms coming this summer🤩 (Molly if you see this just know we’ve been blaming your brothers for the missing uniform, not you queen)

🫶🏼 Thank you to our Parents Association for hosting a great banquet, this past month, to celebrate our season. We were honored to have boys program alumni attend as special guests and begin meaningful conversations about growing our alumni association. It was a special night for our entire program.

March Updates 🌈☘️: We’re excited to be hosting free clinics every Sunday this month for girls in 6th–8th grade who are interested in experiencing high school soccer. It’s a great opportunity to train, build skills, and get a true feel for what it takes to compete at the next level.

Player Highlight of the month:
After battling back from an ACL tear and months of intense rehabilitation, Aubrey returned to the field in some of the best shape we’ve ever seen her in—stronger, faster, and more determined than ever. Aubrey doesn’t just represent our program—she elevates it.

This year, Aubrey joined our indoor track team, where she earned First Team All-Catholic honors—an incredible accomplishment that reflects her athletic versatility and drive. In the classroom, she continues to excel, earning First Honors last trimester. Aubrey also serves as captain of the lacrosse team, further proving that her leadership extends beyond just one program.
