HUGE congrats to Coach Drew Adams on his induction into the Professional Lacrosse Hall of Fame!
The Premier Lacrosse League inducted Philly legends and Springfield High School Lacrosse grads Greg Gurenlian and Drew Adams among four that were added to the Professional Lacrosse Hall of Fame during the PLL’s Hall of Fame weekend Saturday in Hempstead on Long Island.
Greg Gurenlian, Faceoff Specialist, Springfield-Delco/Penn State
2015 MLL Champion, 2015 MLL MVP, Seven-time All-Star
2,263 face-off wins (most all-time), 58.8% face-off win percentage, 40 assists (most all-time by a face-off specialist), 1,120 groundballs (tied for most all-time)
Gurenlian – also inducted into the Eastern PA Hall of Fame in 2021 – played as a midfielder at Springfield, also specializing in face-offs. He was named All-ECAC in 2005 and 2006 at Penn State, when he was the team MVP in both seasons.
Gurenlian was named MLL FaceOff Man of the Year three times. He faced off for the United States National Team, which won the Silver Medal in Colorado in 2014. He also played on the 2018 team, which won the Gold Medal in Israel. He set the USA record for face-off percentage in a World Game at 80 percent.

2015 MLL Champion, Three-time Goalie of the Year, Five-time All-Star
1,966 saves (most all-time), 52.8% career save percentage. Played for New York Lizards (2009-18), Utah Archers (2019-21)
Adams was inducted into the Eastern PA Chapter of the USA Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2021. He was a 2005 All-American at Springfield who earned USILA Honorable Mention All-American three years in a standout career at Penn State. He was also ECAC Rookie of the Year and ECAC Goalie of the Year twice while serving as a team captain in his senior year.
