The National Association of Blacks in Criminal Judtice - PA Chapter Justice Sunday Service. In celebration of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, NABCJ presented the Lucian E. Blackwell Community Service Award to Lt. Jill Toomer, Philadelphia Prisons, and the Criminal Justice Achievement Award to David S. Owens, Jr., Director, Camden County Corrections Facility. Chairperson Lillian Dixon was honored for her dedicated service to this program and her church. Haven Peniel United Method Church has hosted this event for the last several years.

NABCJ partnership with Senator Williams, Councilwoman Blackwell, Concerned Black Men in a 2018 Summer of Peace Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 25th at Kingsessing Recreation Center playground. Music, Free Food, Moon Bounces, Water Ice, and giveaway of over a 100 Bookbags with school supplies, and much more!! It was a great day for kids and their families before the school semester begins on Monday.
