The name “Wiser” contains the implied meaning of nurturing and transcending one’s wisdom to a higher level. Wiser ball is not restricted by age, height, gender, or race. A Wiser ball game can be played as long as there are fifteen players (seven per team plus referee). It does not require any specific playing field, and can be played around obstacles. Wiser ball players enjoy the benefits of a mild cardio exercise, improved eye hand coordination, flexibility and balance, the development of wisdom and the fostering of fellowship and friendship among people of all ages. It is truly a sport that treats all people equally. Teams that wish to engage in national and international competition, can become members of the National Wiser Sport League NWSL and register their teams with the World Wiser Sport Committee WWSC, both nonprofit organizations that oversees the governance of the sport around the world.
