🎭 FREE Audition Workshop at Roxborough Library! 🎭

Is your child interested in musical theater? Whether you're auditioning now or thinking about auditioning in the future, join us on June 27 from 10:30 AM–12:30 PM for a fun, informative workshop designed to help you build your audition skills and confidence! Age group for workshop is for students entering 1st grade - 9th grade.

We'll cover:
🎵 How to choose a song and monologue
🎤 Learn a short song from the show
💃 Learn a short dance combination

Please wear comfortable clothing. Participants are welcome to attend the entire workshop or just the sections that interest them.

Audition slots for the musical are currently full and are now waitlist only. However, everyone is welcome to attend the workshop—even if you are not auditioning this time—to gain valuable experience and prepare for future auditions.

Registration is not required, but it is encouraged. Let us know if you'll be there so we can make sure we have enough materials for everyone!

Pretzel Theater Company is looking for performers entering 1st–9th grade for our upcoming fall junior musical production of Seussical JR!

📅 Auditions:
• July 7 & July 9, 2026 | 6–8 PM
📍 Venice Island Performing Arts Center

⭐ Callbacks:
• July 14, 2026 | 6–8 PM
• By invitation only
📍 Venice Island Performing Arts Center

🎤 Prepare:
• 30 seconds–1 minute of a song in the style of the show
• 30 seconds–1 minute of a monologue, poem, storybook passage, or speech

Need help preparing? Join our optional free Audition Workshop on June 27 at the Roxborough Library 10:30am-12:30pm!

📅 Rehearsals begin the week of July 29 and will be held Sundays plus one weeknight per week.

🎭 Show Dates:
October 15, 16 & 17, 2026

Participation fees include $150 for Jr. ensemble with no audition necessary or $250 for non-junior ensemble roles.

Calling all our young stars entering 1st through 9th grade! Pretzel Theater Company & Venice Island Performing Arts is officially announcing Seussical Jr.!

We know how those pre-audition jitters can feel, which is why we’re hosting a Free Audition Workshop on June 27th. It’s the perfect way to shake off those nerves and get ready to shine before the big auditions in July.

Whether you’re already performing or this is your very first show we’d love to have you there.
