We talked with shop owner and cyclist Brady Gibney about the Philly cycling community, culture, and what the return of The Classic means for the city.  
 
Fun fact: Brady placed third in the men’s master’s section of the Philadelphia Amateur Time Trial at the last Philadelphia Cycling Classic in 2016! You can register for that same time trial now at the link in bio 😉

Tom Schuler was the 1987 champion of the Philadelphia Cycling Classic and American cycling legend. He was one of the original seven members of the 7-Eleven Cycling team.

Since his professional cycling career ended, he’s been the directeur sportif for several prestigious cycling teams, including the Saturn Cycling Team. In 2007, he was inducted into the US Bicycling Hall of Fame.

Mark your calendars! The Philadelphia Cycling Classic Amateur Time Trial hits the streets of Philadelphia on August 29th, in partnership with Guy's Racing Club and with support from Independence Youth Cycling.

Registration is open June 1 – August 27. Categories include road bikes, time trial bikes, juniors, handcycle & disabled, and non-binary riders.
