The call for entries for the 2026 Program Book Cover Contest is now open! Deadline to Submit: Monday, August 3, 2026

For the tenth year, the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta invites artists, photographers and art students in the Philadelphia region to submit original artwork to be used as the cover image for the 2026 Regatta Keepsake Program Book and poster. Show us your work featuring our favorite subjects, rowing, the Schuylkill River and Boathouse Row!

This year marks the 56th anniversary of the regatta and, with the help of the talented community of artists in the Greater Philadelphia region, we look forward to celebrating our history, the sport, the iconic river and the future, with the entire rowing community.

Thank you to FCCB for supporting Philadelphia City Rowing through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit program!

EITC support helps fund PCR’s STEM and workforce development initiatives, including our Physics of Rowing curriculum, Environmental Literacy and Sustainability programming, and our Student Marketing and Communications Internship.

We’re grateful for FCCB’s investment in Philadelphia public school students and hands-on learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom. 💙

Last week, PCR’s junior and senior student-athletes spent the evening at PwC’s 2001 Market Street office for a career exploration session. The visit brought them into the room with PwC staff who shared information about the firm, their rowing backgrounds, and the experiences that shaped their early careers and led them to their current roles.

Thank you to Janine Devine and Kyle Comegys for coordinating the visit, and to the PwC team, including Drew Miller, Kate Butscher, Terrance Jagrup, Siobhan Guthrie, and Jade Miller, for spending the evening with our rowers and talking with them about your work and the opportunities PwC offers.

Bringing our student-athletes into a professional setting designed specifically for them strengthens the support they receive through PCR and gives them useful reference points as they plan for life beyond high school.

We appreciate PwC for welcoming Philadelphia City Rowing into their workplace and making time for this meaningful session! 🏙️
