🚨 RUMSPRINGA STRONGMAN IS COMING TO PHILLY! 🚨
Get ready to test your limits at Rumspringa! Strongman Competition — a USS-sanctioned event on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Fire For Effect Athletics in Philadelphia, PA! 🔥
Event Details:
• 📍 123 Leverington Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19127
• ⏰ Rules meeting: 8:30 AM | Competition starts: 9:00 AM
• 💰 Entry: $90 (limited to 100 athletes — 94 spots remain!)
• 👀 Spectators are FREE
• Weigh-ins: Friday 8/14 (1-6 PM) or morning of
5 Epic Events:
• Behind the Head Bag Toss
• Deadlift Ladder
• Overhead Yoke Press for Reps
• Duck Walk for Time
• Iron Cross Hammer Hold for Time
Compete in Novice or Open divisions (multiple weight classes for men & women). Do at least 3 events to qualify for Nationals! Medals for 1st place + Top 3 Open & Novice 1st place qualify for Nationals.
Rules reminder: No tacky, no suits, no baby powder, no bare feet, etc. Full rules on the registration page.

**YOUR ONE STOP SHOP FOR WELLNESS!!!**

All located in the interior of Fire for Effect Athletics at the intersection of Leverington and Umbria (pull into the large, fenced in, and FREE parking lot)…

Fire for Effect Athletics: Functional Fitness Classes, Open Gym, One on One Training, Lockers, Showers, etc…for 8 1/2 years we’ve been home to people ranging from NFL players and Olympians…people new to fitness and IFBB pros…ages from 6 to 80+…fellow veterans (some even with prosthetics and in wheelchairs), people going through chemotherapy, postpartum and expectant Moms, etc. There’s even 3 married couples out there that met here!!! 😁

Restore Physical Therapy .philly : Dr Victoria .doc and her crew are absolute magic at keeping us moving!

Liberty Spa Massage and Wellness : (Opening in the next few weeks) Infrared Sauna, Massage, Cupping, Acupuncture, Cold Plunge….WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED! Not to mention our aesthetic is going to be way more fun than all those other places! 😁🤷🏻‍♂️

Balanced Being Chiropractic : Dr Dave does all the maintenance on me, and after a lifetime of the military, football, strongman, CrossFit, etc…I’m no easy customer!! 😂 Such a great addition!
