Coach MJ began training MMA in 2010 fighting out of Daddis Fight Camps in Cherry Hill, NJ. Under the tutelage of Master Brad Daddis (Founder) and Kru Anthony Williams he competed in the amateur ranks and compiled a record of 6-2 in Muay Thai and 3-1 in MMA competing on the East coast and down South.

In 2015, he began fighting out of Octagon MMA in Greensboro, NC. Under the tutelage of Sensei Benjamin Rothrock (US Army Combatives, Sambo, Judo, Jujutsu, BJJ), Coach Lamont Rowland (Top Level Kickboxing founder), and Kru Nicholson Sprinkle (Champion Muay Thai). He competed under pro rules for Virginia Cage Fighting Championships before an injury sidelined him in 2017.

Since being inactive as a fighter, he shifted his focus on gaining knowledge as an instructor/coach under Sensei Benjamin Rothrock (Octagon MMA).

In 2019 Coach MJ began training under the renown striking coach Ryan Kim Cafaro (CFFC Veteran and UFC striking coach).

With championships in Sport Jujutsu, Muay Thai, and Kickboxing - along with his fight experience - Coach MJ brings real combat application and insight to the table for all of our students and clients in the art of striking!
