Happy Monday Everyone!!! April is Parkinson's Disease awareness Month and what better way to start the week with a quote from one of the most prominent advocates in the PD community, Mr. Michael J. Fox! Although it may be hard to come to terms with your diagnosis or anything in your life that didn't quite go the way you envisioned; you still have an opportunity to count your blessings and make the best of your situation! True happiness starts in the mind so be happy for all the good that you have and experienced as opposed to the bad things that may have popped up unexpectingly. And most importantly, don't give up. Keep exercising! Keep meditating! And keep fighting!

Exercising and improving one's life does not need to be time consuming or done all at once. Just a little bit here and there done consistently can make a big difference in one's health and wellness! Good morning PD Fighters! I know there are days you may not feel at your best. Even today may be one of those days in which you don't really feel like getting up at all. It's very understandable to feel that way. But I want you to know that getting up more times than you were knocked down makes you a winner. In boxing, it's easy to throw punches and win a fight if an opponent is not punching back. But when an opponent fights fire with fire, that's when the real fight starts! We all face challenges in life that were not a part of our plans. But it's up to us to show these uninvited opponents that we are the unstoppable force and we will keep moving forward regardless of how many times they hit us and how hard they hit us! Even a little progress is progress, remember that! Stay safe and Keep fighting! 🥊
