We’re proud to see PPR Baseball featured in this week’s Northeast Times as we continue working to make baseball accessible, affordable, and fun for every child in Philadelphia.

This article highlights the incredible growth of our program, the dedication of our volunteers, coaches, league directors, and recreation leaders, and our mission to provide opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels.

A special thank you to Greg Stepp from Hunting Park for his leadership and vision in helping guide PPR Baseball forward, and to everyone who has contributed to making this season such a success.

We’re just getting started! With Fall Ball around the corner and exciting plans for the future, we’re committed to continuing to grow the game across Philadelphia and giving every child the chance to step onto the field.

Thank you to all of our players, families, coaches, volunteers, recreation centers, and community partners for making PPR Baseball what it is today.

🏆 17U Champions! 🏆

Congratulations to Feliz on an incredible season, capped off with an unforgettable championship victory!

Trailing 11-2 in the 6th inning, Feliz mounted an unbelievable comeback, scoring 16 unanswered runs to secure an 18-11 win and claim the 17U Championship.

To make it even more impressive, they finished the season undefeated; a testament to their talent, determination, and resilience.

Congratulations to the players, coaches, and families on an outstanding season. What a way to finish! ⚾💙💛

⚾ Philadelphia Parks & Recreation Inaugural Fall Ball League – Registration Now Open! ⚾

Philadelphia Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the first-ever Citywide Fall Ball League!

We're looking forward to launching this new opportunity for players and organizations across the city, with games scheduled to begin August 30, 2026.

League Information:
⚾ Team Registration Fee: $100 per team
📅 Team Commitment Forms Due: Friday, August 7, 2026
📧 Submit completed forms to: [email protected]

The Team Commitment Form should include:
• Team name
• Age division
• Coach and assistant coach contact information
• Home field and preferred game day/time
• Any scheduling conflicts or unavailable dates

Submitting commitment forms by August 7 will allow us to finalize divisions and prepare league schedules in time for our August 30 start.

We can't wait to kick off the first season of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation Fall Ball!

🏆 PPR Baseball 12U Minors vs RBI League Championship Recap 🏆

Congratulations to Calvary on a hard-fought 2–1 victory over the RBI Champion Bridesburg!

It was an outstanding game featuring great pitching, timely hitting, and excellent defense from both teams. Congratulations to both organizations on terrific seasons and for providing such a competitive championship matchup.

Thank you to the players, coaches, families, umpires, and volunteers for making this season a tremendous success. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the field next year!
