Another great kids series for 3-7 is Pororo the little Penguin. Excellent character building with a vast variety of different personalities to learn about. Shows on Netflix and Happy Kids on Roku.

Make time for a one on one with each child; away from mom and siblings. Keep it between you and them and it will remain special and build character for both of you.

Dad Tip:
Smile at your child everytime you see them, even when they leave a moment and come back. When they’ve done wrong, all it takes is a non smile greeting to help them understand. Then explain the situation.

Remember when you’re busy, It only takes a minute or two to listen to your child. This attention builds a lifetime of confidence and trusting conversations.

Teach your child to use the brakes on their bike or you’ll be buying way more shoes than you like.

Listen to your child, if they say something hurts or bothers them and it’s not visually noticed, after meds, ask again later and where the problem is. If they show the same place, have a Doc checked it out.

YouTube is not a friendly place for your child. We’ve seen ads pop up that are in no way appropriate for youngsters.

Men, rough your boys up a little and let them rough you up. This helps keep the dad mode fun flowing and the father son relations understanding.

Let your child learn to ride a scooter while riding the bike on training wheels. When it’s time to lose the training wheels, they’re going to take off and be in full Pro Mode. Craziest thing I ever saw.
