C.O.B.R.A. was developed by Chris Sutton, ex-street cop and “Joe Lewis Black Belt”. Today the system is recognized worldwide as the leading “Academy Style Training Program”. Especially relevant to the student, this is not simply a collection of “cool moves,”. C.O.B.R.A. is a complete system covering the mental and physical aspects of self-defense while emphasizing scenario training. All training is designed to focus on what really happens rather than what works in a karate school or MMA ring .

The “Street Level” perspective of a cop provides a unique insight to the kinds of people who become predators, how they choose their prey, time and place of attack. Consequently, this knowledge with real life experience in dealing with the most common attacks and you have the foundation of C.O.B.R.A.
