In an effort to provide you with a quality hunt and exceptional harvest opportunities, we strongly manage our number of hunters and the harvest of animals.

J & D Outfitters is a family owned business that has exclusive caretaker and hunting rights to thousands of acres of private mountain ranches, as well as ranches across the eastern plains of Colorado. We offer trophy elk, trophy mule deer, antelope, turkey, bighorn sheep and mountain lion hunts throughout the state of Colorado. We also conduct ranching for wildlife hunts in the northwest corner of

Colorado. Our ranches are surrounded by either other private ranches, National Forest, state or BLM land. Elevation in our hunting areas ranges from 6,000 to 11,000 feet. Doyle Worbington, owner of J & D Outfitters and Guide Service, is a wildlife biologist who brings over 25 years of guiding experience to you...the dedicated HUNTER and OUTDOORSMAN. He is licensed, bonded and insured through the state of Colorado. He is a life member of Safari Club International, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Mule Deer Foundation and North American Hunting Club. He is also a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation, National Rifle Association, Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society and an approved Guide/Outfitter of the North American Hunting Club. He has spent countless days in the outdoors enjoying hunting, fishing and trapping since childhood. A retired Army Ranger, Doyle has had one main childhood dream: to be an outfitter in the Rocky Mountains. Once he started guiding and doing animal nuisance control work in Georgia and North Carolina, he was hooked. The main goal at J & D Outfitters is to offer you a quality hunting and outdoor experience. Although he can't guarantee you an animal, he can guarantee you an honest hunt and 110% effort and hard work from his staff.

Long time coming! Just when we thought our year couldn’t get any better after harvesting a 237” Colorado muley, we were blessed and fortunate to harvest a whitetail of lifetime here in Kansas with our longtime client John Marshall. This brute has given us the slip for two years while only being seen on game camera. Hours and hours strapped in the tree hunting this beast has finally paid off.
