SPORT SPECIFIC | STRENGTH&CONDITIONING
What’s the difference?
“Sport Specific Training” refers to training specificity to a given sport. This means things like - skill acquisition, event simulation, skill development, etc. This is what you would do to get better and specialize in a given sport.
“Strength and Conditioning” refers to getting stronger and more conditioned for sport in general. This is where you train to get bigger/stronger/faster and hopefully prevent injury.
