🏁 CLINTON COUNTY SPEEDWAY — RACE UPDATE! 🏁

Last night at Clinton County Speedway was another solid night for RDR Racing! 🏎️💨

David started 3rd in Heat 1 and was looking strong, but unfortunately, the right front went flat AGAIN 😩. The good news is, we’re pretty confident we’ve finally figured out what’s been causing those right-front flats, so hopefully that problem is officially behind us! 🤞🔧

David was slated to start 9th in the feature and brought it home 7th! 🏁🔥 A great recovery after another frustrating flat tire!

Overall, it was a pretty decent night, and we’re happy to walk away with a solid finish and hopefully a solution to our tire issues!

Now it’s time to load up and head to Path Valley Speedway TODAY — and this time, BOTH RDR Racing cars will be on the track! ❤️🏁

Tonight we’re headed to Clinton County Speedway for the LAST RACE OF THE SEASON🔥🏎️💨

David Buckley will be behind the wheel of the 1Z, ready to put it all on the line and finish out the season strong! 💪🔥

🏁 RACE NIGHT UPDATE 🏁

With rain in the forecast, the track decided to run timed hot laps instead of heat races saturday night.

Riley timed 24th out of 24 cars. Definitely not the result we were hoping for, and there’s still plenty of work to do, but we’ll keep learning and improving! 💪🏻❤️

David had a much stronger night in qualifying, timing 10th out of 24 cars. 👏🏻

After the timed hot laps, Riley pulled in and noticed oil spraying out of the dipstick tube. We got it patched up, but unfortunately the oil then started spraying out of the breather tube. Because of the issue, Riley had to sit out the feature. 😔

David started 10th in the feature and battled his way through until a right front flat ended his night, leaving him with a 15th place/DNF. He also received the hard luck award.

Definitely could have been a better night for RDR Racing, but that’s racing! 🏁 We’ll get both cars fixed up, figure out what went wrong, and have them ready to go for this weekend.

Last night was easily one of my favorite nights of racing so far! 🏁❤️ I’m still learning and have a lot to improve on, but I had SO much fun out there!

I pulled pill 49, putting me 9th in Heat 3. I finished the Heat in 9th and was slated to start 23rd out of 29 cars for the feature. Unfortunately, I ended up with a DNF because my raceceiver wasn’t working. I didn’t want to chance causing an accident or getting in someone else’s way because I couldn’t hear what was being called. Sometimes the smart move is knowing when to call it a night!

Even with that, the night was absolutely amazing. ❤️

Kids Night was something really special for me. It was my first time ever getting to take a car out there for the kids, and seeing all of the smiles and hearing the kids laughing made it so worth it. My favorite part had to be coming back after intermission and seeing my hood completely COVERED in kids names. 🥹❤️ That’s a memory I’ll never forget.

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported me, and made last night so special. I truly can’t wait to do it all again next year!

🏁 Race Day is here! 🏁

We’re headed to Path Valley Speedway tonight, and it’s a special one- Kid’s Night! ❤️

I’m really looking forward to getting the kids involved and giving them something to remember. I’ll have signed pictures of the #455 to hand out, the hood will be available for any kids who want to leave their signature, and of course, I’ll have plenty of candy! 🍬🏎️

If you’ve got little ones who love racing, bring them out and come say hi! I’d love to meet them, get some pictures, and let them be part of the night. ❤️

🏁 Last Night at the Track 🏁

David went out for hot laps and the car felt great right off the bat! After fighting through some issues, it feels like we’ve finally got this car figured out.

He was slated to start 10th in Heat #1, but unfortunately the night ended early in the heat with a right front flat, giving us a DNF. 😕🛞

He was supposed to start 13th in the feature, but unfortunately we never got the chance to go out because the track hit its curfew.

Not exactly the night we wanted, but honestly, we’re leaving feeling pretty good about the car. Aside from the flat, everything finally felt right, and that’s a huge win for us. 💪🏻

We’ll fix the tire, keep working, and be ready to go again! 🏁🔥

🏁 RDR RACING- COWBOY MEMORIAL 🏁

Tonight is a race that means a little more to me than just another night at the track.

It’s been a really tough week for our family. We lost my aunt, had her funeral Wednesday, and at the same time we’ve been dealing with some difficult family matters. It’s been an emotional and stressful week to say the least.

But tonight, we get to do something that has always been a huge part of my life- go racing. ❤️🏁

The Jim “Cowboy” Kennedy Memorial Race is especially meaningful to me because Cowboy was someone I looked up to. He was one of the people who helped inspire my love for racing and made me want to get behind the wheel myself.

Racing is also something that runs through my family, so being able to race at Clinton County for Cowboy’s memorial means a lot to me personally. Even though I race a different class than Cowboy did, I’m proud to be out there carrying on that racing tradition and doing something I love.

After the week we’ve had, tonight isn’t just about chasing a check. It’s about getting back to the track, putting the helmet on, and remembering why I started racing in the first place.
