Looking for an end of the summer camping/glamping adventure? If your into kayaking, fishing, or just relaxing by a fire look no farther. Now that the river has some water again we are ready to do some kayaking and with great camping weather upon us it’s time to get out there and make it happen. At WEO there’s plenty to do from floating, swimming, kayak lessons, camping/glamping, fishing, relaxing by your private fire pit or swapping stories with others by the common area fire pit. Check out some special offer weekend camping/glamping packages with a float trip from WEO to Welton park. We can only offer this while we have the water levels we need so don’t hesitate and book now. -Primitive tent site and kayak trip. This will be for Friday and Saturday nights with your float trip Saturday afternoon. This includes boat rental, gear for float trip and 2 nights of camping. Site has private fire pit and picnic table. Additional tent and kayakers can be added for a fee.
$175 for 2 nights and 2 kayakers

-Primitive group tent site and group kayaking trip. This will be for Friday and Saturday nights with your float trip on Saturday afternoon. This includes boat rental, gear for float trip and 2 nights of camping. Site has private fire pit over looking the river, picnic tables, and room for 5-6 tents.
$160 for 2 nights plus $50 per kayaker (4 kayaker minimum)

-The King Yurt site and kayaking trip. This will be for Friday and Saturday nights with your float trip on Saturday afternoon. This includes boat rental, gear for the float and 2 nights of camping. This yurt site includes king size bed with fresh linens, AC, private fire pit, cooking station, Adirondack chairs and string lighting.
$390 for 2 nights and 2 kayakers

Campsite Available! Located in Petersburg WV, within minutes to North Fork mountain and within 20 minutes of Dolly Sods, Seneca Rocks and Smoke Hole Canyon. Our 23 ft yurt site has a king size bed, fresh linens, AC, fire pit, grill, Adirondack chairs and string lights. Our campground sits on 15 acres along the south branch of the Potomac. Enjoy hanging out on the island whether you’re into swimming, fishing, bird watching, watching the gliders launch or just relaxing, it’s a great spot to be. Tucked in the woods you feel connected with nature while still having the amenities of town such as: cell service, food delivery and being minutes from local shopping. 1st annual WEO wrestling camp. WOW.. all the kids had a great time and made memories for a lifetime. Want to thank the camp coach Jackson Moomau for the great clinic he did for the kids. Huge thanks for the parents for giving the kids the opportunity to participate in our camp, being able to give the kids the ability to gain off-season experience and connect with nature is an amazing experience. From wrestling to kayaking to catching crawdads to fishing to fires and s’mores we packed it all in. Thanks to all who helped behind the scenes. Looking forward to building a even better and bigger camp next year

Excited to announce the addition of our private camp ground at Waters Edge Outfitters & Campground, our 14 acre campground will be a private environment with lots to do once on site. We have a 1/4 mile of privately stocked river frontage, island to relax on and watch the kids have fun, kids can ride theirs bikes around the campground, catching fish, catching crawdads,we will offer primitive camping sites, yearly rv sites(half year remaining), and glamping in our yurts with real beds and linen service, private grilling stations, fire pits, electricity, and more. We will open the campground July 4th weekend so call us to reserve your site for a special weekend. Stay tuned for more info and pics to follow this coming week. Call to book or for more info
