Yes, there are a few Pinks in the river. However, this is an off year, so don't expect numbers like last year. And I can tell you with certainty that smaller is better when deciding what to throw. And the more erratic the retrieve, the better.

Starting to consistently find perch down in the marsh. Lots of 8 to 10's. 1/16 ounce jig and crawler or 2" keitech. Minnows and slip I'm sure would work too.

Helped a client land his first 50plus musky yesterday . . . and we weren't even trying. We were really after prespawn smallies. 10 # XBraid sinking with 8 # Seaguar Invisx lead, 1/0 circle hook. 5 inch blacktail chub.
