We’ve been keeping this one under wraps, and we are SO excited to finally share it with our Miami County Biddy Ball families!

𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗧𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗢𝗪, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝘀𝘁! 🙌

And this year, we wanted to give our players a little something EXTRA. 👀

Every eligible player who registers for Miami County Biddy Ball before September 13th will have the opportunity to participate in 𝗧𝗪𝗢 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗪𝗮𝘆 — 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘! 🏀🔥

The Penny Way is about so much more than basketball. Through mentorship, social-emotional learning, positive reinforcement, and the game of basketball, Antonio works to build confidence and teach skills that carry far beyond the court.

And there’s another reason we’re so excited to bring these clinics to Biddy Ball! 👏

These clinics will give our players a chance to get in the gym, work on their skills, and learn from a different coaching perspective before our season gets underway.

They’ll also be a great tool for our league and coaches! We encourage our Biddy Ball coaches to come out, watch, learn some new drills and practice ideas, and get an early look at the players in our divisions. It will also give us a great opportunity to see overall skill levels and help with the evaluation process as we prepare for the season.

This year, we are also looking to bring back coach drafting, and these clinics will be another great reason to have our coaches and players together early! Coaches will have the opportunity to observe players, get a better feel for the divisions, and help us work toward creating balanced teams through the draft process.

So while these are absolutely TWO FREE CLINICS for our players, we’re excited about the bigger picture too — bringing players and coaches together, learning something new, getting kids back in the gym, supporting the return of coach drafting, and helping us prepare for an awesome Biddy Ball season! 💪🏀

Last up in our 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝗕𝗶𝗱𝗱𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 is the one helping lead the way this season! 💜🏀

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗮 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗹 — 𝗠𝗖𝗕𝗕 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁! 👏

Samantha has been involved with Biddy Ball for 5 years! Her love for the sport, along with seeing just how much time, effort, and dedication goes on behind the scenes, made her want to get more involved. After seeing how much a small group of volunteers was giving to make Biddy Ball happen, she wanted to help share the workload and give back to a program that means so much to our community. ❤️

One thing she’s especially excited about this season?
👉 The new faces joining the board and all the fresh ideas and energy they bring! She’s excited to continue building on the great foundation created by those who have volunteered before us. 🏀

Her favorite part of Biddy Ball?
🏆 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱! She loves watching how much each team grows throughout the season and seeing all of their hard work come together.

Samantha hopes to bring a fun, positive environment where every player feels supported and has the opportunity to improve. Most importantly, she wants our players to build confidence, enjoy the game, and develop a true love for basketball!

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗻 — 𝗠𝗖𝗕𝗕 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿! 👏

Stephanie has been involved with Biddy Ball for around 4–5 years, both as a coach and board member. Her love for basketball is what first drew her in, and she wanted the opportunity to help kids learn to love the game too! 🏀

One thing she’s especially excited about this season?
👉 Coaching her granddaughter and watching all of our Biddy Ball players continue to learn and grow! 🏀

Stephanie hopes to bring plenty of 𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 to Biddy Ball this year! She loves watching all of the kids play and also enjoys keeping the scorebook during games. Most of all, she loves having the opportunity to teach kids the game of basketball. 🙌

A little more about Stephanie:
👩‍👦 Mom of two — a 28-year-old daughter and a 14-year-old son
👧👦 Grandma to three — Hayden (7), Sister (5), and Rowen (1)
🏀 Played basketball for 8 years during her school-age years
🩺 Registered Medical Assistant at Parkview Logansport, where she works with a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
🏈 HUGE football fan
❤️💛 Favorite NFL team: Kansas City Chiefs — GO CHIEFS!!
🐐 Was a HUGE Michael Jordan and Chicago Bulls fan in the ’90s

And here’s a pretty awesome fun fact about Stephanie:

⭐ Stephanie played high school basketball with 𝗥𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘆, who went on to play at Notre Dame, in the WNBA, and for Team USA in the Olympics! During Stephanie’s senior year, her team also won Sectionals and beat Peru for the first time! 🏆🏀

And her advice to our Biddy Ball players?

“𝙇𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨!” 🏀❤️

For Stephanie, Biddy Ball is special because she loves teaching kids basketball and getting to watch them play, learn, and grow throughout the season. 💜🏀

Jason has been involved with Biddy Ball for 4 years! As his kids, Kian and Noori, became old enough to play, Jason knew he wanted to be involved. In fact, he tries to coach or help with just about every sport his kids play!

One thing he’s especially excited about this season?
👉 Seeing how much everyone has grown and watching each player continue to develop their basketball game on a personal level! 🏀

Jason hopes to help players add new skills to their game while also being a positive influence and role model for everyone who comes through Biddy Ball. Most of all, he’s ready to have a GREAT SEASON! 🙌

❤️ Married to the love of his life, Shine “Ansari” Hall — who many of you know as Mrs. Hall at Blair Pointe!
👦👧 Dad to Kian & Noori
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Spending time with his family is his favorite hobby
💪 Enjoys working out at the YMCA
🏀 Loves just about any sport with a ball
📣 Loves coaching and being involved in his kids’ sports
💙 Favorite college team: UNC Tar Heels
💛 Favorite NBA team: Indiana Pacers
🐐 Favorite player: “THE REAL GOAT” Michael Jordan — who is from North Carolina, just like Jason!

And his advice to our Biddy Ball players?

For Jason, Biddy Ball is special because he loves watching the kids grow throughout the season and seeing them step onto the basketball court and give it their all.

The Miami County Biddy Basketball Board will meet Tuesday, August 25 at 6PM, meeting will be held at Wabash Valley Abstract.

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲 — 𝗠𝗖𝗕𝗕 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿! 👏

Karen is entering her 5th season with Biddy Ball and her 4th season on the board! She first became involved after coaching her first year and loving the organization. She wanted to help organize the league and support the program her son loved being part of. ❤️

She also knows just how important volunteers are in keeping Biddy Ball moving forward!

One thing she’s especially excited about this season?

Next up in our 2026–2027 Biddy Ball Board Member Spotlight is someone who definitely isn’t new to Biddy Ball! 💜🏀

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗕𝗿𝗶 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 — 𝗠𝗖𝗕𝗕 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿

Bri has been a 𝗕𝗶𝗱𝗱𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟭𝟭 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, including the last 𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿! 🏀💜

She wanted to be involved with the board because she believes it’s so important for our youth to have a feeder program — a place where they can grow not only as athletes, but as individuals. A safe, encouraging place where they can make mistakes, learn from them, and grow. ❤️

One of her favorite things is looking out onto the basketball floor at high school games and seeing former Biddy Ball players, playing at the next level! 🏀

One thing she’s especially excited about this season?

👉 The FREE clinic being offered to players who register online before the cutoff date! She loves that it gives back to our kids while also providing coaches with a great tool to help with evaluations.

😂 She considers herself super socially awkward and says she often “𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘯” while watching her kids play youth sports!
