The varsity team finished their season during district play earlier this week. The boys ended with a final record of 10-16. This was the first season with double-digit wins since the 2019 season, after going 16-112 over the previous five years.
The boys made great strides and were able to accomplish many things, including
-the first double-digit win season since 2019
-the first Mayor’s Cup victory since 2019
-being the #2 highest scoring Perryville team in 17+ years
-first conference game wins (2), breaking a 38-game conference losing streak
-W.I.T. Invitational Consolation Champs
-Chester Invitational Tournament Consolation Champs (as the 7 seed)
-breaking the school record for 3 pointers made in a season
- team and player improvement in several statistical areas
-tying the individual assist record for a season.

Everyone contributed to these achievements, and every player had a memorable performance and plays throughout the year!

We would like to thank our four seniors for their effort and commitment to the program: Evan Hayden, Jake Cissell, Eli Schott, and Carter Blechle. We are also excited for the growth and development of our returners moving forward.

Hopefully, at the end of the day, our boys will be able to look back and appreciate that they were able to lay a solid foundation for what we hope to be many years of success for this program!!

We would like to recognize our entire varsity squad, as they were able to break the program record for team 3’s made in a single season with 198 makes!

The previous record was set by last year's team, who set the mark with 160 made 3’s.

This record is a testament to our entire squad, as every player contributed to the final amount. We had 11 players with three or more attempts, and they were all part of the final number. Congrats guys!

We're excited to announce that Junior Guard Karston Schilli tied the program record for assists in a single season during the 2024-2025 season with 124 total assists!
Karston is now the record's co-holder with former pirate Phillip Buerck, who set the record in the 2004-2005 season.
